The rider's journey starts by reaching the understanding that the horse - his amazing, reasoning, and sensitive animal - is not the means for everyday riding, driving, or any type of stock labor, but instead is our companion.

   Together, we gain experience through recreational riding, working in blazing heat, or breaking through a snow storm.

   Being involved with horses is a creative, continuous process that requires care, self-awareness, and most importantly, lots of love. We have to love the horse and the daily work that goes with it. Isabell Werth, a world-famous champion rider, said it best: "the journey is the goal".
